Short Description: This exciting summer camp will give middle school girls (6^th – 8^th grades) the opportunity to explore the world of robotics through a variety of challenges including building their very own autonomous robot.

Long Description: Students will learn electronic basics with the Arduino Robot project and will explore engineering principles through challenges using sensors, motors, and other key components. With the Arduino - students will learn how to follow a logic flow and program various challenges and they will be stepped from simple output commands to autonomous sensing and response. Each challenge will require students to dive into deeper level problem solving. After building fundamental skills, they will be challenged to select a real-world problem to solve using their bot and they can continue to explore at home after the camp since they will get to take home their robot at the end of the week!

Age: Recommended for incoming 6^th- 8^th graders; Camp is intended for female students.

Lunch: Students bring their own lunch

Summer Camp Refund Policy

Summer camp fees are fully refundable (less a $50 per camp registration deposit) up to 4 weeks prior to opening day of camp. You may email us your refund request and our response (within 24 hours) will be confirmation of receipt of your email. If you do not hear from us then we have not received your request. All postmarked requests (prior to the cutoff date) will be honored.

Emergencies: If you have a medical or family emergency and are unable to attend camp please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate you, however refunds are at the discretion of the camp director.
Last minute cancellations: If and only if we have a waiting list and can fill your spot, will we refund camp less a $50.00 processing fee per registration.
Refunds will not be given if:
- A child is sent home due to behavioral issues (see Behavior Agreement).
- A camper decides to drop out of the program or leaves early/before the end of camp.
- Your child is sick and either stayed home from, or was sent home from camp due to fever or other ailments.

Registration note: Firefox and Chrome browsers are more compatible with this registration form than Explorer or Edge.
